Respiratory System: 81 y/o woman with decreased appetite and 25 pound weight loss.
Clinical Presentation:
An 81 year old woman with a history of hypertension and gastroesophageal reflux presents with decreased appetite and weight loss of 25 lbs. over the past 6 months. She denies any shortness of breath, chest pain, dysphagia, or difficulty with chewing and swallowing her food. A social history reveals a 65 pack year smoking history. Physical exam is unremarkable. There was no evidence of lymphadenopathy or other significant findings. Laboratory test results were unremarkable except for an elevated serum calcium level.
