Malignant Criteria
 
Prominent multiple nucleoli in reactive bile duct epithelium (proplasia) in the tissue fragment on the right side of the image.  Note the increased cellularity with enlarged nuclei.  Some of these features are also present in well differentiated adenocarcinomas.  Compare with normal epithelium (left side of image).  See higher power image.  (Bile duct brushing, Pap, 200x)
