Johns Hopkins Pathology Ranks #1 in Funding
The Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research just released their analysis of 2009 NIH funding to medical schools and once again Johns Hopkins Pathology Department ranks #1 in funding! The Blue Ridge Institute calculated that our pathology department received over $52 Million in NIH funding. This represents an increase of close to $7 Million from 2008. Rounding out the "top five" were the University of Pennsylvania, University of Washington, Emory, and the University of Pittsburgh. Congratulations to all of our faculty and staff who have worked so hard in these times of challenging funding.
