Lysandra Voltaggio, M.D. Lysandra Voltaggio, M.D.

Dr. Lysandra Voltaggio was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where she obtained her college and medical degrees. After Anatomic and Clinical Pathology training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she pursued Cytopathology and Surgical Pathology fellowships at George Washington University Hospital in the District of Columbia, where she served as faculty for almost 5 years. She currently is an associate professor in the Department of Pathology at Johns Hopkins, and directs the clinical GI pathology service as well as the GI/Liver fellowship. She is the author of over 50 articles and 3 textbooks in GI pathology and is a national and international lecturer.

John Gross, M.D., M.S. John Gross, M.D., M.S.

Dr. Gross was born and raised in Omaha, NE where he obtained his Bachelor's, Master's, Medical Degree and completed Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Creighton University. Following pathology residency, Dr. Gross completed fellowship training in bone and soft tissue pathology at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA followed by additional fellowship training in surgical pathology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. In 2020, Dr. Gross joined the Department of Pathology at Johns Hopkins as an assistant professor where he brings expertise in bone and soft tissue and surgical pathology. Dr. Gross has an academic interest in bone and soft tissue tumors and has authored over a half dozen articles and chapters as well as given national and international presentations on sarcoma pathology.
