Analysis of interphase cells using FISH with a probe for ETV6 on paraffin sections.

ETV6 FISH is ordered by contacting the cytopathologist or surgical pathologist assigned to the case.
Specimens must go through Surgical Pathology to be reviewed by Pathologist.
Specimen Requirements
1 H&E and 3 unstained on plus slides
Slides are delivered to ordering Pathologist to indicate on the H&E the area of invasive tumor to be analyzed.
The Pathologist will place the slides in the blue Cytogenetics bin in the Weinberg signout room to be picked up by the Lab.
