Tissue (FFPE)

For Panel: 2 H&E's and 10 unstained on plus slides (an H&E at beginning and end of unstained). For Individual probes: 1 H&E and 3 unstained on plus slides

Slides are delivered to ordering Pathologist to indicate on the H&E the area of invasive tumor to be analyzed.

The Pathologist will place the slides in the blue Cytogenetics bin in the Weinberg signout room to be picked up by the Lab.

Blood or Marrow: store refrigerated (preferred) or room temperature - DO NOT FREEZE. Hand carry specimen to Kennedy Krieger Institute, room 520 or send to tube station 141.

FFPE: store room temperature.

  • For Individual probes: 1 H&E and 3 unstained on plus slides
  • Slides are delivered to ordering Pathologist to indicate on the H&E the area of invasive tumor to be analyzed.
