Adults: 12-18 cc in ACD (yellow top) tubes.
Infants and children: Minimum 3 cc in EDTA (lavender top) tube.
Keep specimens at room temperature. Receipt preferred within 24 hours of collection, acceptable up to 72 hours, especially in ACD tubes.
