Why Support Rapid Autopsy Program?
Rapid Autopsy is an entirely unique opportunity to collect specimens for research that are unlike any other and often could not be collected by any other method. Our program not only aids in critical cancer research but also assists in carrying out the final wishes of our extraordinary patients and their loved ones. These research autopsies are carried out at no charge to the family and we want to make sure that we can continue to offer this service to them and our researchers. Your tax-deductible contributions are used exclusively to help cover costs including transportation of the patients from home and hospice to Johns Hopkins, laboratory equipment and supplies, and staff salaries. Every contribution helps us in our mission to help improve the lives of patients with cancer and finding cures.
