Dr. Huili Li is a board-certified Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) pathologist with extensive training in surgical pathology and urologic pathology. With a strong commitment to advancing the field of adrenal pathology, Dr. Li has made significant contributions through both clinical practice and research. Notably, her team contributed to the study of CYP11B2 histology, which has furthered understanding of unilateral primary aldosteronism. Dr. Li is actively engaged in research on bladder paragangliomas (extra-adrenal pheochromocytomas), aiming to shed light on this extremely rare tumor and to investigate its unique immunophenotype in relation to SDHB expression and prognosis. Dr. Li is also interested in the diagnosis and study of rare adrenal malignancies, such as adrenal cortical carcinoma and pheochromocytoma.

As a vital member of the adrenal tumor board, Dr. Li collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to tackle complex cases, providing expert insights that enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
