Dr. Jon Davison received his M.D. from the University of Chicago and completed his pathology residency and fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology at Johns Hopkins.
He is Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he practices Gastrointestinal Pathology.
He enjoys his work mentoring medical students, residents and fellows.
His research focuses on Barrett's esophagus and esophageal cancer where he has an interest in the development and validation of clinically useful biomarkers for risk stratification of patients with Barrett's esophagus, optimal management of early esophageal cancer and novel therapeutic approaches to the treatment of advanced esophageal cancer.
