Welcome to the Department of Pathology here at Johns Hopkins.
There are three things that stand out about our program. First and foremost, we cherish our residents. Our faculty are dedicated to teaching and mentoring our residents, and our faculty are deeply committed to supporting the well-being of our residents. Simply put, our residents are our family.
Second, the one word that best characterizes our residency is possibilities. We sincerely believe that our residents are the future of pathology, and we strive to open doors and create opportunities for our residents. This is not a one-size-fits-all top-down program. Instead, our goal is to support our residents with mentorship, opportunities and resources so that they can pursue their passions, their dreams. The elective residency tracks are great examples of the possibilities here.
Third, we embrace diversity at all levels. Individuals of all backgrounds are welcome here, and our diversity strengthens our program.
